formerly ` Surrounded by your HALO, we have now re-vamped under a new name,
`` PARADISE LOST,
and are quite different with many new features.`` PARADISE LOST,
LET IT ALL BURN, I WILL BURN FIRST, GOD OF TIME, AM I LOST IN YOUR EYES?
we live in the land called north america, the land here is lush and green, fertile and giving. it keeps us fed, keeps us happy, keeps us alive. but what happens when you disrespect our land? what happens when you make it hurt, make it think we are not worthy enough to have it? it burns. it may start pretty at first, this apocalypse of our life, but it doesn't end well. it may come as a lightning show, with a pink-purple-black sky, and may start out softly, but as the night wears on, it gets more intense, and then some strikes reach the ground point.
JUST LET ME BURN, IT'S WHAT I DESERVE, GOD OF MINE, AM I LOST IN YOUR EYES?
at this point, we realize that this isn't one of natures wonders, it's one of it's killers, and we run as a lightning strike touches a nearby bunch of trees, dry from lack of rain. it reacts violently, bursting forth with hot flames, engulfing the trees and foilage around the point of origin like a box of matches. for it to happen when we were in the middle of a deadly draught, couldn't have been coincidence. it was punishment for what we have taken for granted, something we would never do again.
SO CRY THREE TEARS FOR ME, BURNING SO GOOD, SING ME THIS SONG.
the brutal wildfire raged on furiously for days on end, until the days blended into weeks, and the weeks into months. the humans were not there to extinguish it, so we watched with horrified awe as it burned everything we owned, loved, and cherished. without hesitation it demolished packlands, dens, food, and us. we were nothing to this being, and only one thing could stop it. water. we saw no end to the frightful display, until one day, it seeemed the gods had awoken once again.
SO CRY THREE TEARS FOR ME, BURNING SO GOOD, BURNING SO GOOD.
mother nature must have had enough, because she saw it fit to make it rain like it had never rained before, quenching the conflagration so much that is seeemed as if it had never existed. we however, knew otherwise. the devestation was beyond belief, as we travelled back across the lands we had once dominated, we knew we would never live here again. the once mighty trees that had touched the heavens were nothing but black sticks, the grass was non-existant, and anything green was now ash, blowing in the silent breeze. we had nothing left, and everybody knew it.
AND HERE AT THE END, AT THE END OF THE HURT, ALL THE PAIN AIN'T THE SAME.
it was time to move on, but where? where was left, where was there to go? an elder wolf, one who had seen much of the world spoke of more land, much farther then where we lived, where there was beautiful valleys and endless prey. at such a dark time, who would believe the old man, but did we really have much choice? so we set off, as twilight set upon our meager backs, to find a new place to call home.
WE'RE THE HEART FOR THE HEARTLESS, THE THOUGHTLESS, AND THE GODS FOR THE DEADLESS.
